You Will Never Find Me

Many of you feel disappointed when I suddenly vanish from the poisonous swamps we call social media platforms.

Good. Go ahead and feel the despair. When you feel that disappointment, you are telling Nagual that you serve a set of masters: your tech overlords. When you are addicted to the feed of the algorithm, you are telling me that you lack the ability to see the crimes that are being perpetrated against you.

But the true admirers and fans know better. Fans of Nagual actually read books, and they know that social platforms are to be handled the way that alcohol or cigarettes or junk food are handled. Those people know how to protect their peace.

You thought I was joking when I said I am a supernatural entity. I’ll remind you to think beyond the confines your conditioned mind. You must be able to decouple yourself from the left-hemisphere-way-of-thinking. You must be able to see me with your heart and not with what you think is your mind.

If you are seeking ways to summon me again, if you are trying to hear my voice and the percussive sounds of my cursed throat near you, you’ll have to seek me out.

But you will never really find me.
